Antioxidation treatment method of graphite electrode
Graphite electrode anti-oxidation treatment process, this process includes material preparation, weighing, immersion liquid preparation, immersion electrode treatment and drying treatment. After graphite electrode treatment, it can be processed into various specifications of graphite electrode products. The treated graphite electrode is the same as the untreated one. Compared with graphite electrodes, it has the characteristics of smooth surface and good electrical conductivity. The anti-oxidation treatment process of graphite electrodes is characterized by being completed by the following steps:
(1) Weighing of preparation materials: Weigh the graphite electrode to provide qualified materials to be processed;
(2) Preparation and heating of the immersion solution: the composition of the immersion solution includes industrial boric acid (h↓[3]bo↓[3]) 18-27%, industrial borax (na↓[2]b↓[4]o↓[ 7]) 7-15%, mix it with water and make a liquid, and heat it after mixing;

(3) Dip electrode treatment: put the prepared graphite electrode in a vacuum tank and seal it, use a vacuum pump to evacuate, and inject the heated immersion liquid into the vacuum tank for electrode immersion. During the electrode immersion process, the concentration of the electrode immersion solution decreases be supplemented as appropriate;
(4) Secondary weighing: After the electrode immersion treatment, open the vacuum tank, take out the immersed graphite electrode, and drain the leaching solution. The weight gain of the immersed electrode is more than 10%;
(5) Drying treatment: The immersed graphite electrode is dried so that the water content of the electrode is not higher than 0.5%;
(6) Weighing three times: After drying, weigh the graphite electrode again, so that the weight increase is more than 3% of the weight before immersion;
(7) Finished product processing: The above-mentioned treated graphite electrodes can be processed into standard shapes as required. The above-treated graphite electrodes can be processed into standard shapes as required.
